In the Heart of SmartFLOW Yoga teacher training course, you will learn the heart of Annie Carpenter's SmartFLOW teaching methodology. This course contains over 30 videos, including lectures, demonstrations, asana practices, and meditations to elevate your ability to teach using this sophisticated methodology. You will also receive supplementary worksheets, illustrations, and quizzes designed to enhance your learning experience and the quality of your teaching.

In this course Annie will introduce you to the foundational principles of her methodology including, "The Effort" and "The Return to Center", which are grounded in both anatomical truths and the Classical Yoga concepts, abhyasa (practice) and vairagya (non-attachment). As you progress through the course, Annie systematically builds upon this foundation by illuminating three important anatomical teachings, or Movement Principles, that cover the spine, pelvis, and shoulder girdles, as well as specific poses that exemplify each principle.

Through this comprehensive teacher training you will gain the tools to teach with specificity while encouraging each of your students to find their own way -- eliminating the habits of perfectionism, judgment and shame that can be a part of our yoga culture -- creating an atmosphere of mindful self-inquiry and exploration.
